RESULTS IN SIMPLE STEPS & 15 MINUTES
The COVID-19 combined with Influenza A & B Antigen Test establishes if someone has either COVID-19 or the common flu. With symptoms being very similar and the prevalence of the flu being greater than COVID the test provides reassurance and clarity. Testing between the 1st and 5th day after symptoms provides the highest degree of accuracy. Results should be confirmed via PCR.
The test comes in a box of 25 and uses a throat swab to take a sample at the back of the throat. This is placed in the sample extraction tube and then 3 drops of the solution are put onto both wells on the detection kit.
It is recommended that companies test staff daily, every few days or weekly.
Please note that this a brief overview of the process, and a more in depth procedure will be covered in the online training module upon order.
The COVID Antigen & Flu Testing can provide four (4) results:
Negative - meaning the test did not detect COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) or Influenza A or B
Positive Ag - meaning a current COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) infection has been detected
Positive IVFA - meaning a current Influenza A infection has been detected
Positive IVFB - meaning a current Influenza B infection has been detected
