RESULTS IN 5 SIMPLE STEPS & 15 MINUTES

The COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test is designed to determine if someone has a current COVID-19 (SARS- CoV-2) infection. This is a screening test and should be confirmed with a laboratory based PCR test. Testing between the 1st and 5th day after symptoms onset provides the highest degree of accuracy.

The test comes in a box of 20 and uses a throat swab to take a sample at the back of the throat. This is placed in the sample extraction tube which contains a buffer liquid, and then 3 drops ofthe solution are put onto the detection kit.

The Rapid Antigen Test provide one of three (3) results:

1. Negative - meaning the test did not detect COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2)

2. Positive Ag - meaning a current COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) infection has been detected

3. Invalid - meaning the test has not worked and should be repeated

It is recommended that companies test staff daily, every few days or weekly depending on the specific requirements.

The DNA Workplace Rapid Antbody test has been trialed extensively and found to have the following accuracy:

- Sensitivity 96%

- Specificity 99%

Please note that this a brief overview of the process, and a more in depth procedure will be covered in the online training module upon order.

THE RESULTS

The Antigen Testing can provide two (2) results:

FOR PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY

01

A negative result and no detectable viral antigens

02

A positive result and the SARS-CoV-2

viral antigens

If while testing you receive a positive result you will need to follow the process of isolation and the guidelines of local and national authorities.

If the test is negative it's important to monitor any symptoms that may occur. You can also use the DNA Workplace Rapid Antibody Test in conjunction to determine whether there are COVID-19 antibodies present from a previous infection. It is recommended that companies test staff either weekly, monthly or quarterly depending on the specific requirements.

These results can support you in planning how your business will operate going forward, from how your staff can interact with customers, when employees can be transferred and crucially how day-to-day operations can take place safely whilst maximising productivity, in conjunction with other testing.
