Terms of sale
Last updated: 29 October 2026
These terms apply to orders placed through the online shop at dnaworkplace.com. Please read them before you order.
1. About these terms
1.1 These terms apply to every order placed through the online shop at dnaworkplace.com. We are DNA Workplace Limited (“DNA Workplace”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 11036947 and VAT registration number GB 342471612. Our address is Unit G1, Frome Business Park, Manor Road, Marston Trading Estate, Frome BA11 4FN. Telephone 0203 943 8371. Email sales@dnaworkplace.com.
1.2 In these terms, “Consumer” means an individual buying for purposes wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession, and “Business Customer” means anyone else (including a company, charity or public body).
1.3 These terms, together with our Returns, refunds and cancellation policy, Delivery information, Privacy policy and Cookie policy, form the contract between you and us. By placing an order you confirm that you accept them.
1.4 Orders of more than 1,000 kits, custom orders and health tests are handled by enquiry and quotation. They are supplied on the terms set out in our written quotation or, for health testing kits, on the terms described in section 14.
2. Our products
2.1 The shop currently offers drug test kits, including the 10 Panel Urine Drug Test and the 10 Panel Saliva Drug Test. Each product page describes what is included.
2.2 Product images are for illustration. We take care to describe products accurately, but minor differences in packaging or appearance may occur.
3. Placing an order and when a contract is formed
3.1 To order, choose a product and quantity, enter your delivery details, and pay through our secure checkout. You can correct mistakes before you pay.
3.2 You can order up to 1,000 kits online, in any quantity. Kits cost the same each whatever the quantity. For larger quantities, please contact us for a quote.
3.3 When you have paid, we email you an order confirmation. Our contract with you is formed at that point, when we send the order confirmation.
3.4 Until we send the order confirmation we may decline an order, for example if a product is unavailable, if there is a pricing error, or if we cannot deliver to your address. If we do, we will tell you promptly and refund any payment taken. After the order confirmation, we may cancel an order only where we have a good reason, such as an error in the price or a product becoming unavailable, and we will refund you in full.
4. Prices and payment
4.1 Prices are in pounds sterling (£) per kit and include VAT at the applicable UK rate. Delivery to UK addresses is free. For delivery outside the UK, postage is added at checkout (see section 5), and no VAT is added to that postage. The total shown at checkout, including any postage, is the total you pay.
4.2 Payment is taken by card at checkout through Stripe. We do not store your full card details. Your order is processed once payment is confirmed.
4.3 Although we aim to be accurate, a price may occasionally be wrong. If we discover an error in the price of an order you have placed, we will contact you and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel with a full refund.
4.4 The VAT included in your order is shown at checkout and on your order confirmation email. If you need a VAT invoice, email sales@dnaworkplace.com quoting your order reference.
5. Delivery
5.1 Delivery to addresses in the United Kingdom is free of charge.
5.2 We deliver using Royal Mail, DHL or Speedel. For delivery outside the UK, postage is charged. It is calculated at Royal Mail rates based on the destination country and the weight of your parcel, and is shown at checkout before you pay, so you will know the total cost before you confirm your order.
5.3 Kits are packed in boxes of 100, then boxes of 25, with any remainder sent loose in one parcel. Postage outside the UK is worked out for each parcel. For example, an order of 150 kits is sent as one box of 100 and two boxes of 25.
5.4 For UK orders received before 1pm on a business day, we dispatch for next-business-day delivery. Urgent requests can be arranged by contacting us.
5.5 Orders delivered outside the UK take longer. Delivery times vary by destination and are estimates, not guarantees. Courier and postal services are independent of us, and delays with them do occur for a variety of reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to limit the effect of any delay, but we are not responsible for the consequences of delays outside our control.
5.6 Where we have a tracking number for your order, we can give it to you on request.
5.7 Import duties, taxes and customs. Orders delivered outside the UK may be subject to import duties, taxes and customs clearance charges in the destination country. These are not included in the price of the goods or in the postage charged at checkout, and are payable by you as the recipient.
5.8 You are responsible for making sure the kits can lawfully be imported into and used in your country.
5.9 Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us. You own the goods once we have received full payment.
5.10 If delivery fails because no one is available or the address is wrong, we will contact you to arrange redelivery.
6. Cancelling your order and returns
6.1 Consumers. If you are a Consumer you have the right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 to cancel this contract within 14 days, starting the day after the goods are delivered, without giving a reason. This right does not apply to sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons if they have been unsealed after delivery, so please keep kits sealed until you are ready to use them.
6.2 To cancel, tell us clearly (for example by email to sales@dnaworkplace.com) and return the goods as set out in our Returns, refunds and cancellation policy.
6.3 Business Customers. If you are a Business Customer you have no statutory right to cancel once your order has been placed, but you can ask us to cancel an order before it is dispatched. We will consider requests to return unopened goods at our discretion.
7. Faulty or incorrect goods
7.1 If goods arrive damaged, faulty or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible with your order reference and, if you can, a photo. We will replace the goods or refund you.
7.2 If you are a Consumer, nothing in these terms affects your legal rights, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
7.3 Business Customers should inspect goods on delivery and tell us of any defect as soon as reasonably possible.
8. Using the products – important information
8.1 Our drug test kits are screening tests. Results are indicative and preliminary. A non-negative (positive) result should be confirmed by laboratory analysis before any decision is made.
8.2 The kits must be used in line with the instructions supplied. They do not provide medical or legal advice.
8.3 If you use the kits to test other people, you are responsible for making sure that you have the necessary consent and policies in place and that your use complies with the employment, data protection and other laws that apply to you.
9. Our responsibility to you
9.1 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
9.2 Consumers. If we fail to comply with these terms we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or of our failing to use reasonable care and skill. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the contract was made, both you and we knew it might happen. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, nor for any business losses.
9.3 Business Customers. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of sales or business, loss of agreements or contracts, loss of anticipated savings, loss of use or corruption of data, loss of goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you for any order is limited to the price paid for that order.
10. Events outside our control
10.1 We are not responsible for delay or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as strikes, transport disruption, carrier delays, severe weather, supplier failures or customs delays. If this happens we will contact you and, if the delay is long, you may cancel the affected order for a refund.
11. Complaints
11.1 If you have a concern or a complaint, please contact us at sales@dnaworkplace.com or on 0203 943 8371, quoting your order reference. We will do our best to put things right.
12. Your personal data
12.1 We use your personal data as set out in our Privacy policy.
13. General
13.1 We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force when you place your order apply to that order.
13.2 These terms and any document referred to in them are the entire agreement between you and us about your order.
13.3 If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
13.4 No one other than you and us has any right to enforce these terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
13.5 You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent. We may transfer ours to another business that takes over ours.
13.6 These terms are governed by English law, and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in the English courts. If you live in Scotland you can bring legal proceedings in either the Scottish or the English courts. If you live in Northern Ireland you can bring legal proceedings in either the Northern Irish or the English courts. If you are a Consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory laws of the country where you live.
14. Other services
14.1 Health testing kits are supplied on our Terms of Service – Health (PDF). Terms for our other testing services are provided on request, or are set out in the quotation we send you. Please ask us at sales@dnaworkplace.com.
