Prostate Cancer Screening
This blood test measures a protein called prostate-specific antigen (PSA). This antigen is made in the prostate gland and when a raised level of this is found in the blood it can indicate prostate cancer. A raised level alone is not used to diagnose prostate cancer, but is used as a screening test, to have further medical investigation with your doctor.
Bowel Cancer Screen
Colorectal cancer is the second most common cause of cancer death in the UK, however survival rate can be greatly improved with an early diagnosis. A quantitative faecal immunochemical test (qFIT for short) is a stool test that measures the level of hidden blood in your stool. This is not a diagnostic test however it is a very useful screen that can help to guide whether further medical investigation is indicated.

The digestive health test includes a wide range of markers which may indicate whether food and nutrients are being digested and absorbed effectively. An HbA1c test will additionally look at how much sugar has been circulating in the blood over the previous 6-8 weeks, and importantly identify whether you would fall under the category of having normal blood sugar levels, or if these levels indicate pre-diabetes or diabetes.
